Cultural determinants of Japanese management concepts for Japanese companies operating in Poland

Abstract

The dissertation "Cultural Determinants of Japanese management concept for Japanese companies operating in Poland," consists of four chapters preceded by an introduction and summarized in the end. The main objective of this study was to determine the cultural context of Japanese management concept in Poland. In relation to the main, follow three research hypotheses and six objectives. The dissertation included some characteristics of Japanese management concepts, review of the literature in the field of culture, the cultural interaction between Poland and Japan and the history of the Polish-Japanese economic relations. Chapter four presents the results of empirical studies conducted in the four Japanese companies operating in Poland. The study was conducted using in-depth interviews and survey questionnaires. As a result, the objectives of the dissertation have been achieved, in particular, identified 12 cultural determinants of Japanese management concept for Japanese companies operating in Poland.
