Factors of forming a level of wages in the enterprise sector in Poland in years 2000-2010

Abstract

The main aim of this doctoral dissertation is to identify factors which formed a general level of wages in the enterprise sector in Poland in years 2000-2010. This paper is divided into four chapters. In the first one the theory of labour market is presented. The labour supply and the labour demand with their determinants were also described here. The second chapter presents the idea of forming a level of wages in a free market economy. The theory contained in the literature and results of empirical researches published in scientific periodicals were analysed. In the third part of the doctoral dissertation chosen factors which can have an impact on the general level of wages in the enterprise sector in Poland are described. In the last chapter empirical researches on the influence of chosen determinants on a general level of wages in the enterprise sector in Poland in years 2000-2010 are conducted. Results of these researches are presented and analysed in the end of this paper.
