Methods of measuring the economic value of public spaces

Abstract

The article provides evidence of the importance of measurement the economic value of public spaces in successful regeneration policies, revitalization, planning, investment, for creating sustainable communities, etc. The aim of the article was to identify the most appropriate methods of measuring the economic value of public spaces. A model, quantitative approach to the economic value of public space has been presented. This approach is fast developing, of growing importance issue of broad range of problems of rganizing space in accordance with needs of local society. Presented methods are applicable.
