Abstract

Intense competition for foreign direct investment (FDI) in the world made most countries to establish foreign investment promotion agencies (IPA). Effective agency can be a big advantage in attracting foreign capital into the country. IPA can be assessed in terms of projects completed, quality of projects or opinion in the eyes of investors and business partners. The article presents the results of qualitative and quantitative analysis of projects lured by Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency between 2003 and 2010.
