Abstract

In operational business situations it is necessary to be aware and to understand what happens around you and what probably will happen in the near future. A lot of decision tasks on operational level are difficult to handle since there are strict time limits as well as high efforts to gather all necessary information to oversee the current situation. So, reducing the degree of uncertainty is a key factor in many operational business processes, including decision making
